Apparently this is a 4*star hotel, so I'm not sure whether the standards in Italy are that low or what, but it's 3* at best. Looks good from the ouside, you can see that the building has its history. Location is fine, close to the sea and the casino, a bit of a walk to the city center. Hotel has a private underground parking, which is quite useful (though you have to pay 12 EUR per night). Staff friendly and helpful. The interior is outdated, one can see that it used to be an elegant hotel, but now it looks outdated and in need of renovation, the style is rather heavy, very traditional. All of that would be ok, if it wasn't for the rooms. They desperately need renovation, cause they make sad, ugly and dark impression - it was nothing like the ones you can see in the official pictures. Bathroom extremely small, with broken shower cabin door.
Strange breakfast, with lots of sweets (cakes and pastries) and very limited choice of other food.

The hotel is a bit outdated and Sanremo city is unfortunately rather worndown and noisy. The room was big and ok but the air heavy and dusty. We were promised a seaview, but mostly overlooked the roofs of buildings between the hotel and the sea (= room 104). The waiters in the restaurant obviously were most interested in serving the hihgerclass clients. Good beds and overwelming morningbuffet !

Room tip: The lower floors doesn´t have seaview.

Can’t see this is a 4 star hotel. We had a room turned against the pool an see, it was very little, and the bathroom was very very little, It was okay clean but the interior is old and outdated. The garden is closed. The pool is small and old, but it is clean and there is always free sunbeds. The “privat” beach is not so privat, everyone Can buy a place - the hotel has some reserved sunbeds, and they are free of charges for hotel guest. The restaurant is very nice, the staff friendly and there are a pleasant atmosphere.

This is a lovely hotel just up from the seafront in Sanremo. Some of the rooms face out to the sea. There is small pool at the front of the pool which is very clean and well maintained. Our stay included passes to one of the beaches including two beds, an umbrella and a cabin. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The hotel is quiet and staff welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. It is a bit of a climb from the road and as we were travelling by train we had to climb at last once a day.

Room tip: If you can, book a sea view room. However, it will cost more!

Little gem of a hotel. Immaculately clean - every single member of staff welcoming, efficient, polite and caring without being intrusive. Peaceful outdoor areas - pool area also spotless. Close enough to main centre for everything needed. A little bit of Italian paradise is Hotel Paradiso- aptly named. Well done Paradiso.
