Fantastic Hotel with superb staff. Absolutely brilliant swimming pool which was great for us and the kids. Breakfast was very good with a great choice.
Reception, restaurant and pool staff were all friendly and accomodating.

The breakfast service was great, rooms cleaned everyday reasonably priced and all the staff are pleasant and willing to help, the pool also cleansed each evening and our view from the room was outstanding

We stayed two for two weeks in Hotel Aequa and we loved every minute of it!
When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Giacomo at reception and that warmth and hospitality continued throughout our stay.
Every member of staff was always polite and attentive. We must give a special mention to Antonio in the dining room and Roberto at the pool.
Our room was spacious, spotless with great air conditioning & a fabulous view of the sea and Vesuvius. We booked a superior room . The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast is ample and varied and I'm going to miss sipping a great cappuccino in the lovely garden .The location is ideal being so close to the main station and the town square with its good range of bars and restaurants. We'd love to return and have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Aequa to families, couples or solo travellers.
Just returned from an 8 night stay for our family of 5. I agree with the other reviews re the superb views over the Bay of Naples, clean rooms, air con, perfect location, etc. What we liked however was the sense of calm and space. This is partly down to the environment: the hotel sits in some lovely grounds with lots of orange and lemon trees, with a shaded terrace overlooking the Bay - so it was nice, when returning from a hectic days sightseeing, to relax in one of these areas or by the pool (we always got a sun bed, even in the middle of July) and order a drink from one of the waiters. But really its the staff - those friendly waiters (Antonio was great), the managers on Reception, our lovely cleaner, that really made the stay special. I understand that some guests return every year and I can see why.
Try and get a sea view room if you can. Vico is lovely, though we found the restaurants a bit average. Nearby Sorrento had some amazing places to eat, last train back to Vico was 10pm. The bus ride from Sorrento to Amalfi via the coastal road is stunning, and only 3 euros. Finally, note that there is a coach stop outside the hotel taking you directly from/to Naples Airport and even a daily service to Rome.
We can't wait to return.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! The location is fantastic and the views over the bay of Naples from our room was stunning, it’s also only a couple of minutes walk from the train station and close to the main square without being noisy. Our room was very comfortable and spotless with a huge bed!
The staff are absolutely wonderful especially Adriano who really looked after us and the manager even gave us a late check out at no extra cost.
The breakfasts are a typical Italian affair, meats, cheese, pastries, cake etc and are delicious with the good choice.
We didn’t use the pool but it looked like you didn’t have to fight for sun-beds etc and we will definitely be using it next time. We can’t wait to come back here again and are already planning for next year.
