Picked up food for simple supper whilst in self catering. Staff happy to help with suggestions and samples for choosing cheeses and bread. Delicious chocolate cake and the rustica baba bread superb. They also have tables to eat there which we didn't try.

We had a brunch of freshly made pesto on fantastic rustic bread & cheese wrapped in bruscetta & lemon leaves with a glass of wine. It was soon good but easy to miss. Set back off the main road it is a wonder anyone finds it. Yet their stock of wine runs from simple local to 103 euros! The deli has a very good range. I wish it had been closer so we could have returned for dinner

My boyfriend and i come back to this restaurant for special occasions and days off as it is such a chilled out area. Let them choose the menu for you. A mix of cheese and salumi to start to have a taste of some of the best quality and interesting products. For second we normally have filet, lamb chops and other great cuts of meat on the grill they have outside. Really good wine list.
Grazie sempre per le bellissime cene ☺️ Ali & Dario

Please note this isn't in Vico Equense town but the next village called Seiano. We took the Circumvesuviano train and got off there and a short steep walk up the hill takes you to a rather unpromising building by the road. This is Il Tradizione. Do not be put off. Inside two wonderful women were running a superb delicatessen bringing together the very best local food and wine. They can prepare good food for you to takeaway or eat there on little tables. It was very hot so they brought a table inside for us. We sampled beautiful quiches, tomato and smoked mozzarella, aubergines cooked exquisitely, ham and smoked cheese and bread cubes. Really beautifully prepared. Some evenings they also offer a special barbecue/grilled dishes. But ring to check. Highly recommend.

We finished our trip to Italy with a dinner here. Incredible family run business! They were very helpful in helping us select a dinner adventure. They suggested we point to items in their display cases since we didn't speak Italian. The food was the best we had in Italy plus a couple surprises they threw in! Beautiful outdoor seating or indoor if you prefer. Incredible prices for meal received. Don't miss if you are in the area.
