We stayed here for 3 nights having booked a premium room with large room and jacuzzi. Whilst the room was very large and comfortable, the bathroom was very small. We also suffered from noise from late night revellers into the early hours. Breakfast was somewhat limited. However the location is very good in the centre of town and close to the lake.

All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Manager was excellent, one morning we were an hour late for breakfast and he made sure we were looked after, another time my corkscrew broke in my bottle of wine and he took time to fix it for me. Nothing was too much trouble, lovely hotel and people. Darren & Ali, Ipswich, England.

Room Tip: Great views and location.

First, we did this as part of a package with Battaglin-USA who was misleading and disorganized to say the least!

However, the hospitality of Bruno and Nadia at the Hotel Alessi was fantastic. The courtyard is gorgeous and the food was some of the best we had in Italy.

Lake Garda is beautiful and we did some cycling that was terrific. Mauro was our guide. Call Bruno and setup your trip directly.

We stayed at the Alessi for 6 nights for a cycling vacation. We had a spacious suite with a fantastic rooftop deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up our own meals, but the food is so tasty in Desenzano we seldom used it. The real benefit of staying at the Alessi is the hospitality of the folks running it, however. From the moment we arrived, Bruno made us feel welcomed and at home. It would be harder to find a more generous and pleasant host. He checked in with us daily to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The staff, including Andy, was also extremely friendly. The proximity to the town is perfect, and the breakfast plentiful. They have a fantastic wine bar with a free buffet every evening and a charming outdoor patio for their restaurant and pizzeria. Not sure if the free shuttle from the train station was part of our bike trip package or a service they provide for all guests, but it was well appreciated. We would absolutely visit the Alessi again.

This lovely, family-run hotel is perfectly fine in terms of the amenities. We had 'Nadia's Room', the highest room with its own terrace overlooking the red roofs, the town, the lake! It was kind to be offered this room as I think we only had a 'standard room'. We were there as part of a bike tour so we arrived a bit befuddled, not exactly understanding the ropes. Bruno and Nadia, the amazing innkeepers, took us under their wings and cared for us in an excellent fashion!

The room was pretty in a basic way. Lovely windows looked out onto the church tower and other pretty homes. As I said, the terrace was the highlight.....such lovely views and a place to hang out laundry to dry.

The meals were great! There are several dining areas, one outside was nice but filled with the ever-present Italian smokers. But no worry, there were at least 2 other lovely rooms to sit in for lunch or dinner which were delicious.

Breakfast was good, nothing amazing, but certainly good!

The real pluses here are Nadia and Bruno. They make you feel like family and see to your every need!

Lovely location, lovely people, lovely town! Worth a stop!!

Room Tip: We loved 'Nadia's Room'! Named after the kind owner!
