This is a small family-run business famous in the local area for the excellent ice-cream. The location (the main square of Calimera; no much to see in town) is not great, but Caffè Vittoria is definitely worth visiting. They have been able to hold on the tradition of Italian Caffés while being innovating in their array of products. The ice-cream cones (enormous!) and cakes (the semifreddo) are delicious and entail classic tastes as well as tasty combinations with amaretto, mascarpone, figues, and many others. You should also try the coffee-based specialties such as the espressino freddo (hot coffee, cold milk foam and nutella) or the nocciolino (coffee with hazelnut ice-cream). The personnel is very efficient, kind and polite. Finally, the price: just don't think about it, it's soooo low!
One suggestion for those going there in the summer: if you love peace, visit it after lunch, when the town streets are empty to escape from the heat; if you love lively places, go there in the evening when the bar is populated by locals of all generations.
