Stayed here for 8 nights with a group of 6, probably slightly more expensive than other places to stay but we were more than pleased with what we got!
We primarily booked a 5 person room and requested an extra bed which they only charges us an extra 10 euro a night for. The room was so spacious and really clean and airy! We were picked up from the port by the owner and greeted with orange juice on arrival!
The hotel was in easy walking distance to the main village and also to the port and the bus for the other beach stopped right outside the hotel.
Every night they had a security man on duty patrolling the hotel and whoever was on reception went out of their way to do what they could for you.
One of the nicest places ive ever stayed.

Our stay at Homers inn was wonderful. Pictures on the website should be upgraded because the rooms were more modern and clean than we expected. Luckily for us. Both the pool area and location of the hotel was perfect for our group of girls traveling together. The staff was understandig, helpful and so nice. We would a 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to travel to Ios!

Room Tip: The rooms with four beds instead of five are more modern.

My boyfriend and I visited Homer's Inn Hotel in August 2015
Rooms were clean with a beautiful view from the balcony onto the harbor.
The pool area was lovely also.
It is within walking distance from the port but its a good bus journey from the town and the lively nightlife. There is however a bus stop directly outside the hotel.
The staff were very nice and accommodating.

We returned to this hotel after 33 years . The hotel is beautiful with amazing service from all of the family. We had a lovely large room with stunning views . Transfers were all organised by Panos and his dad. This is a wonderful hotel and will defiantly be returning .

The hotel is in a perfect location for those wanting a quiet stay. Just a short walk to the port with its numerous restaurants and bars and a slightly longer and more up hill walk into the village, via the donkey trail. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel for the less energetic. A typical Greek breakfast is served on the balcony with a stunning view of the port. Vangeles, Antonia and Panos are great hosts, so welcoming and helpful. We love staying here and would certainly recommend it. Perfect for a very comfortable base whilst enjoying the wonderful island of Ios.
