Whilst staying in Sarlat for five nights we decided to eat at L'Adresse for three of those nights, it was that good. With most other restaurant menus dominated by duck dishes, L'Adresse's menu was more fairly weighted with duck, beef and fish dishes. We had three different fish dishes and all were amazing with flavour in spades. The Creme brûlée with raspberries was also a winner - creamy, toffee with a crack and freshened up with the raspberries. Definitely reserve your table - even outside of high season it booked out. Would go back here in a heartbeat!

We were taken to this small but exquisite restaurant last week. What a wonderful surprise with a different take on some of the local ingredients. And excellent fish, including carpaccio and tuna tartare. A charming, charming level of service also.

This is a small, authentic restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, complete with a sliding patio door to get in.

One inside, it's intimate with a nice buzzy atmosphere. The other tables were largely filed by locals, and it's not surprising - the food is fresh and extremely 'proper' to the region, as the French would day.

You will need to book - but this is a great choice to eat well whilst avoiding the large number of -'tourist' restaurants in the town, and the associated prices. We thought this restaurant offered good food at great value. We would go back.

L'Adresse is definitely a family restaurant with crayons and toys awaiting the young customers. The atmosphere and service is nice for everyone, and the food is very good and typical for the region.

Great Perigourdine starters. The main course fish was beautifully cooked, and the sauce that came with it unusual and delicious. The magret was equally delicious and the creme brûlée to die for.
