Surprised and delighted to see such a busy bustling restaurant, close to the centre of Sarlat, serving excellent, wholesome, well presented plates of food. Friendly service, but was busier than we expected so, wise to book.
Menu is varied and the spare ribs chosen by my husband were beautifully cooked with a delicious sauce, as was my pavé of salmon. Starters showed originality- my Nems with spicy duck alongside sesame grilled prawns with side salad was superb. Wine List has plenty choice and we managed to find our favourite Sancerre from Crochet- brought back happy memories of holidays long ago.
What a change from some of the tourist traps in town! A slice of real French lunchtime cooking at reasonable prices. We shall return soon.
