First time in France, first time in motorhome.
Camping Du Letty is a lovely friendly site. As a previous reviewer stated, it's a large site but feels small due to the hedge and shrub/tree planting... very pretty also.
The beach is in close proximity, and there are pluses and minuses. There is an estuary with a very powerful current - on one day we saw 7 children saved by holiday makers. The lagoon appears perfectly safe when the tide is coming in, and it's an ideal place to try your SUP Board or Kayaking skills. There are lots of opportunities to snorkel, swim and paddle - just keep your eye on the tide. Further on outside of the estuary there are some great waves. The water is crystal clear though sea-weedy at the mouth and edge of the estuary. That said we spend lots of time down there.
The on-site pool was good fun, if you like your water a bit warmer then the inside pool will be perfect for you. Both pools have fun items for the children including slides, waterfall, jacuzzi, lazy river etc.
Our pitch was a large comfort pitch and was perfect for our needs.
The site is monitored for excessive noise after 11pm, and though the noise from the pub/club varies we could just about hear it from the outer edges.
There are quite a few toilet blocks, with showers, sinks, dog wash facility (complete with fur dryers!!), wetsuit wash/shower, laundry room, ironing room etc. My only comment about the facilities would be that the showers were a tad messy/grassy but cleaned often... purely foot traffic. I was taken by surprise on my arrival as I didn't realise that the toilets were unisex :-)
We used the shop for necessities, and we had pizza from the on-site deli on our last night. Worth every penny and very friendly staff.
Be prepared to take your rubbish/recycling to the entrance of the camp daily, as if the weather is hot your rubbish bag will smell. It's nice though not to see bins swarming with wasps etc about... good idea.
All in all great holiday.

Excellent site with friendly staff. Large pitch with very clean ablution blocks with onsite laundry. Pool and beach were fantastic, one let down was the lack of sun beds at the pool if arriving late.
The site was very close to the town with lovely walks across the coastal paths and great cycle rides. I would highly recommend this campsite.

Well after my third visit in five years it will sadly be my last we paid for a big pitch and got one barley big enough to accommodate our motorhome, currently being looked into by our booking agents it has grown massively in the time we have been coming and sadly lost its charm, should one unit catch fire then sadly it would have a domino effect on those around it took a nine point turn to get off our pitch very disappointed and we left four days early because of the noise from the bar.
