Staff yawns at your face and really not in a hurry to work. Was there with Korean clients and the experience turned into a real disaster. Never again. I absolutely recommend to avoid that place. Gives a pitiful of France. La mère Poulard ce n’est plus la France!!!!

Fluffiest omelette ever.... for 34 euro. Really?! It was good with hints of the wood fire it was cooked on. But, 34 euro? Really?! The room is lovely, The setting can't be beat. But 34 euro for an omelette? Really? The music was great. The service was inconsistent. But 34 euro for an omelette...even a fluffy one? Really?! To be fair, the frozen apple and Calvados souffle was excellent.

It is a busy place. We had to wait for a bit to be sited. Location is very good if weather is cooperating. We were there during the beginning of August and sitting on a terrace was perfect. You can see the gulf and the whole atmosphere was very romantic. Food is good; however, I've had better. Service was friendly and courteous.

We had seen a review in a book about this famous omelette restaurant and it certainly did not disappoint! We were outside when the restaurant opened at 11.30am and although we did not have a booking, we were shown a window table which was perfect. The omelettes are huge and fluffy and with all that beating they don’t deflate at all. A salad and one omelette is enough for two but the various set menus offer great value. Definitely worth a visit!

Arriving too late in the evening to eat, I did stroll through the original location of this restaurant off of the main street, Grand Rue, to find out what it's all about--History. Dating back to 1879, this restaurant is famously known for the wall of autographs from over a century of famous patrons including Ernest Hemingway. I found the picture of our U.S. Army General Omar Bradley signed in 1962. This restaurant is also known for its giant omelettes being made in copper bowls over an open fire.located at the entrance which you can view from the street.
