Made a reservation. Waited for minutes on the streets until they made the effort to talk to us. After sharing them our information regarding the reservation, there was some consultation amongst the employees. After a couple of minutes they decided to seat other guests on top spots and they seated us on a table somewhere at the end of a dark alley in the middle of some bushes, in front of the airco/fan of the neighboring kitchen/restaurant. Asked about another table/shifting to another later on, the answer was simply: no. Smelled terribly over there, loud noise and hot air blowing all over your body and table. After trying to get the waitresses attention for a while, to order some drinks and to see the menu, we decided to just leave when she didn't respond. Can't comment on the food.
Nice staff and excellent asian taste gyoza and tuna. We were surprised by the original taste of the food.
Very nice meals with an Asian twist we didn’t expect but lijed very much. The gyoza and the tuna are highly recommended as well as the calamaris.
A very disappointing meal for both of us.
No set meal and the menu was written on boards that were re-written after we ordered with increased prices for the same dish!
Looking back at previous reviews and photos it's clear this isn't the same chef/owner.
Shop bought salami and a sprinkle of fried onion bits doesn't warrant no.4 restuarant in the town.
None of the dishes we ordered were very impressive or special. I'm no goument chef but I could have easily cooked every one of them with no special ingredients.
There are plenty of other options available in Cassis. I'd suggest you try any one of them instead of La Defonce.
