We bought 2 bottles of Beaujolais for a total of 48euros between 4 of us and then helped ourselves to a delicious spread of antipasti including digging into a whole parmesan cheese. We went back for seconds, and had eaten more than enough for only 12euros per head including wine! A bargain. Service friendly, relaxed atmosphere with background lounge music. Every Wednesday eve through summer.

I love this place. It's cool and trendy with absolute attention to detail. The boss Greg is an amazing host with a glass of wine in one hand and conducting his lovely staff with the other. Amazing food with the best wine list in the mountains! Well done on upping the ante!

After last years surprising good meal, we were let down this year! The food was bland and the only remaining item that was still up to par , was their burger! The pasta dishes came dry and without salt, onion soup had no salt, etc....

It was a little let down as finding good places in les gets are scarce!

Having stayed in the equally excellent hotel (Crychar) last year, we lunched twice here this year. The decor and location are excellent and the food is a complete departure from the ubiquitous Savoyard specialities to be found everywhere else. Excellent cheese and salads, main courses including tuna steaks and pasta with truffles and ceps. For non meat eaters a good selection unlike most other restaurants here. Soups vegetarian, no hidden stocks.
Desserts excellent - all caramel desserts recommended plus rum baba. Much more of a proper sit down lengthy job than the normal ski lunch. Price wise didn't seem more than everywhere else we ate which considering the difference in quality and decor very impressive.
Good service too and all overseen by the owner who runs both this, the hotel and the evening restaurant which is a single fixed menu prepared by her husband who is a great cook.

Have eaten in Bacchus several times now and not been disappointed. Ski in ski out location on the edge of the slope leading down to the village. Friendliest staff, best view, comfy leather sofas and fabulous food.... What more could a large group of friends ask for when having a long lazy lunch?
