Have been coming here since I was a kid and it used to be free. Still kept coming when they started charging, because it is a lovely peaceful place, with a little farm for the kids and somewhere to buy ice cream. But now you can ONLY pay for parking on your mobile phone and I can't do that. So this place is now off-limits to me and my children. Why does everything have to change for the worse? :'(

Now that the sun is out in all its glory I must say that Hainault Forest is one of my favourite spots for a lazy afternoon enjoying nature and fresh air. There is a lovely pond where ducks swim serenely. Visitors can be seen leisurely paddling their canoes. Families, couples, individuals all come here to enjoy what nature offers for free. Children can run around freely, kicking balls, chasing each other or flying kites. Weather permitting, it is a perfect picnic spot. A cafe sells refreshments and there are washrooms but please note these close at 18:00. There are other paid for activities to enjoy at different times of the year so I advise checking the website first to see what is on before visiting so you can make the most of your time there.

Not great condition but could be a fabulous course. Very good layout and a good test. Good value at £18 a head. Newly owned cafe needs a lot of improvement

Ihave been coming here for about 45 years, but the fact that you NOW have to use a mobile phone and a credit card to pay for parking and at Fairlop Waters has put me off.

Absolutely a great place to go for family time. Our Grandchildren love it here.... lovely for all ages. Lots of seating for a rest after lots of walks. Take a picnic. There is so much to do here you won’t be disappointed. Good Fun.
