Italy is rich in historic churches and almost every city or village offers one ore more churches worth a visit, in order to take pictures of the beautifully decorated interiors. Pieve di Santa Maria Maggiore in Pontebba is that kind of church. A bit severe on the outside but full of pomp and circumstance in the inside. The church was built in the 16th century and expanded in the 17th century. I won't describe details anymore of the churches I visit, but I add some pictures to give an impression.
