This was out first time at Mother Ivey's and our first visit to Cornwall in 9 years. The site was one of the best caravan parks we have ever stayed in and I would highly recommend it. The only downside was the the lack of WiFi on the site which was very frustrating given that mobile coverage was very poor.

We visited the park fir a short camping trip. It was our first visit and we felt very at ease. The staff and fellow campers were very helpful. Facilities were plenty and well maintained. The views from the meadow where we pitched our tent were great. There is a small path from the Meadows to the nice secluded beach and his area was lovely for our kids. Weather was nice and so we met a lot of friendly families. All in all, it was a great trip.

Location perfect and beach is gorgeous; the flower beds on site are lovely but pitches are cramped as there were lots of huge caravans and motor homes in small spaces. Boobys shower block is poor and not thoroughly cleaned. Shop on the whole is well stocked - though availability of fresh meat was dependent on whether somewhere else in St Merryn was ordering and was consequently haphazard. Lady in shop was lovely but the man was relentlessly grumpy; every morning seemed to bring a new disaster - one till still not working, papers not properly ordered, pre-ordered goods not done and so on resulting in a long slow queue. Reception staff excellent - very helpful and friendly. Most neighbouring guests were very pleasant however as we were in a tent some larger groups on site were very noisy with loud music and bad language able to be clearly heard.

We've just returned home from a wonderful week away at Mother Ivy's Bay. We stayed in our touring caravan at Boobys site and had magical views across Constantine And Boobys beaches. Normally we go abroad for a week each year but decided after purchasing a new caravan to stay in the UK and explore Cornwall. Was the best decision. Long lazy days spent either on the beach walking the well signposted cliff walks. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The showers and loos were clean most of the time, just at the end of each day, when everybody was back on site, they were a little messy and sandy which is expected after a day on the beach. The shop is well stocked and sells the most delicious baked goodies...so good in fact that there were queues of shoppers before it opened each morning. We will definitely be going back next year.

Silver mobile home, 1 year old, good spec and well presented. Four berth but only two of us but there was more than adequate space. The gold and platinum models were far more luxurious and in the more sought after positions on the park, some with spectacular sea views.
The park itself is a dream venue and is immaculately maintained coupled with the courteous and helpful staff our seven day break was brilliant.
The park also has private access to its own beautiful sandy beach and is also within walking distance of three more.
