We were driving in the hills above Montecatini Terms and drove past this restaurant with the windows down and had an amazing smell !!
We turned the car round and decided to have lunch there. Well what a superb decision.
My wife ordered a selection of cheese with pears and three jams for starter. Interesting choice but goodness me she loved every mouthful. For main she ordered a fillet with peppercorn sauce together with rosemary potatoes and devoured everything on the plate. Said it was one of the finest steaks ever.
My main was morsels of Chianni beef with parpadelle - absolutely amazing. The beef was so tender, melt in the mouth stuff.
Also, they served Moretti Grand Cru at 6.8% strength. Thank you Lord. Unbelievable !!
Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.
