A packed terrace with good ambiance , food was tasty and didn’t have a long wait
Great views of the Vesubie valley and priced very well.
Will definitely return perhaps for an overnight stay....
Good dishes and wines for a fair price all under the shade of one gigantic plane tree in a calm environment.
Also is a hotel with swimming pool, highly recommended.
Came in here for lunch as it was convenient for the GR5 path. Really nice variety of seating inside and out all with super views. Quite a variety of menus, from 17.80€ upwards, but the plat du jour was 12€ and single dishes on the a la carte from a similar price. Very nice greeting on arrival and friendly effecient service. Quality of the food was good, and I will go back.
On our way to the Madone d'Utelle ( altitude 1174 m) where a beautiful panorama of the surrounding mountains ``was waiting for us`` we stopped at the Martinon. It is located uphill with a nice view on the village of Utelle, it was quiet at that beginning of the touristic season, the somehow local french cuisine is tasty and generous, we particularly liked their very special ravioli. Later, a couple of French clients told us that they come specially from Nice to have the Matinon ravioli.
