We ate very well, but they are very slow so we had to wait more than one hour after our order. I don’t suggest this restaurant because they take your time instead of visit the Vitra Design Museum.

A lovely cafe with a nice ambience. Seemed a bit expensive at first (Brexit £ value !!) but portions were generous and the salads and sandwiches were delicious with fresh, tasty and healthy ingredients. No burgers and fries here !! A good place to chill and recover half way through your site visit.

A favourite cafe of the area - a good way to start Saturday before hitting the roads around Alsace. Some nice views of the surrounding grounds and leafy streets if you visit in summer and sit outside - otherwise inside is a cozy place for a strong coffee and some ruhrei and speck to get the body prepared for winters embrace when you leave. See more comments in my main review of the whole Vitra campus.

We went here with our friends and we came to eat here for the first time, unfortunately the last time. The service was very unexperienced, brought wrong items or missing, not very friendly.

The food was not good, overcooked pasta, Balsamic decoration on kids meal, pennen instead of tagliatelle, champignons instead of mushrooms, some strange bred instead of focaccia...

The food was ok, nothing amazing but convenient because of its location close to the Vitra Museum. The service on the other hand was a joke. The drinks came immediately, but we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. We inquired by our waitress several times to be told that it would arrive. But it never did. Several tables were coming and going whilst we were still hoping to be next.
I know first hand how tricky it can get to serve customers in a restaurant. But it is usual then to apologize, and offer tea, coffee or dessert to make sure the customers leave in a better mood. None of this was offered, instead the waitress informed us she wasn't the one cooking and that there was nothing she could do. I would not come back, unless I really have too.
