This hotel is touted as being the best in town.
That is likely true, however:
it is an old building which has been kept up-to date. The rooms are fairly small, certainly when compared to North American standards. It has only two elevators, which causes often long delays.
The service was good, the underground car park was built when smaller cars were the norm - once you are in, leave the car and use the frequent and efficient public transport.
The breakfast is outstanding, in particular if you enjoy substantial food in the morning.
The hotel location is ideal, right on the beach with direct access.
Despite the minor drawbacks, we would stay there again.More
