Despite our trip being fairly short, we were still able to settle into the Sports Lodge, and Klosters itself. Situated 10 minutes from the centre, it is a perfect destination to truly grasp the classic Swiss charm of Klosters. The rooms were clean and cosy with big windows and a balcony. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and good quality. It was held in a spacious ,and light, room at the top of the building. Michaela, the owner, was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When we asked for some restaurant recommendations, she presented us with some wonderful choices and was always able to get us a table. Tidy, classic and very Swiss (!), I highly recommend this hotel for those looking to stay in Klosters.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sports-Lodge. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was truly excellent, and we enjoyed the homemade cakes every evening after skiing.

Michaela, the owner, could not be more helpful. Every day she recommended and booked for us very good restaurants for dinner.

The location is good, and as we left our skis and boots at a depot near the lifts, meant we had a v lovely walk to the lifts every morning.

Excellent hotel - staff was friendly and accommodating. They purchased our lift passes for a discount, got us a discount on ski rentals, and provided a ticket for free transportation in the Davos Klosters area.

Breakfast was excellent - quality breads, cheeses, meats, yogurt and cereals, coffee and juice.

It is about a 10 minute walk to the Parsenne lift and train station. There are several good restaurants and après-ski bars within walking distance, as well as a grocery store.

We are a big family (7) and rarely find rooms where we can stay all together. The Sportslodge has a nice family room, mix between "Huettenromantik"/youth hostel style and hotel, but perfect for us. Excellent Swiss breakfast. Friendly hosts.

We had a lovely stay at the Sport Lodge - one of our best vacations ever. Michaela, the owner, really went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She booked mountain tours for us, recommended day spas to visit, and made us feel very welcome. Her daily apre-ski home-made cake is delicious and the breakfast/common room is open all the time for reading and a snack. The rooms are basic but the lodge has everything one would need from a sauna in the back of the lodge to massages on the first floor with a gym. We'd do it all over again tomorrow if we had the time!
