I have never stayed here but visitors say that it is a great place to stay. I have however eaten delightful food here quaffed down with copious amounts of their own fine wine on many an occasion.
The food here is excellent, plate after plate of antipasti, the best caca e uova anywhere (cheese balls in a piquant tomato sauce) great pasta dishes, meat cooked over real flames on an open fire, followed by desert and fruit and their home made digestivo's. You must try their Ratafia its a local drink, think Limoncello only with cherries.
Over three hours of eating and drinking for under thirty euros a head. Arrive hungry!
Very highly recommended and Philipo and Piero are very friendly and charming hosts.
As this is an Agriturismo you have to book, the meal is set and they cook for the diners that they know they have coming to dinner.
