Stayed 5 nights in October and was surprised how much we enjoyed this place. Not many others were there during our stay so sometimes felt like we had the retreat to ourselves. I wasn't sure how the tent aspect and location would go but was pleasantly pleased with everything. Some nights were windy which can obviously be heard but we quite enjoyed the open feel it gave. The quality, cleanliness and service provided were excellent. We loved our breakfasts and the ground coffee provided to make our own was lovely. We hired a small car and I think a bike or car is needed if staying here to get around, but also loved riding the bikes along the back roads, either to town or down to Muri. This was a peaceful and most enjoyable stay in a lovely setting. [Note: Only limited wifi is available, which is the same as most locations due to broadband limitations in the Cooks]
