The food is excellent, each plate is special, there is lot of attention to details and presentations. The portions are big, with a starter and a main course you are totally full. Service is perfect, the Madame that received us was very kind and professional. There is a menu at 35 euros with a starter+main dish +dessert and it totally worth it!

Meounes - les- Montrieux is off the beaten tourist track. It is a very unpretentious village with a local feel and you would not expect to discover a restaurant of excellence. When you walk off the street into this little haven it is a total surprise. The ambience is intimate and the decor elegant
You only have admirationfor the owners - chef and patron - started from scratch two years ago and built it up to this level singlehandedly within a year. Why?The food is innovative and of the highest quality - the servings are generous and by no means fussy
However the key to its success is the patron - she has personal skills like no other restaurant we have experienced - she is hands on works all the tables yet at the same time gives you undivided attention and makes all diners special. She has incredible situation awareness - she heard a fork drop from 10 metres away but before the table could request another she had already provided it.
Alas the three course dinner menu is 28 Euro - hard to beat

The place is small and cozy, clean environment and elegant service. Better to book a table since they cannot take too many dinners. We were greated with a smile and explained the dishes, from time to time a waiter/waitress asked us if everything was fine.We also got a recommendation as for pairing wine with foie gras with was interesting. We were 4 and 3 of us took the menu a 32 euros. Their signature dish is the foie gras, which was indeed good but the bread that came with it was very uncomfortable to eat.It was too dry and hurt the teeth.
My love one ordered from la carte and he enjoyed his salad (gourmande) but I went for the salmon tataki and was not the best option. There's my lesson of not ordering "japanese style" plates in a french place. One should stick to the place's strength. They were very far away from real success with it, noodles were completely overcooked and the salmon was simply ok. It wasn't a bad dish at all but I bet you have better things in the menu. Anyways, the desserts were interesting (we went for the house's proposal of several little things). Overall, it was a nice experience.

The place is amazing! Beautiful drive...
We came late in the evening with small children, there's just one dish for kids, rare burger (steak hashe) with mashed potatoes and special dessert.
The menu is small, the dishes are very thoughtful.
The service is impeccable - the kids didn't eat their food, so they didn't charge us!
There is a small room with games for kids.
Very good place - but make sure your kids eat the kids dish...
