Nice riverside walk just off the ocean road. I stopped off on the off chance and spent an hour going down the path. The manicured area is nice and then you are into a forest trail, which was a bit overgrown after 500 m or so. I saw 2 koala ( the first trees on the manicured area) and met a friendly swamp wallaby which was a bit of a novel experience for me. First time seeing either of these in the wild and really enjoyed it. There was a shop near the stop off but shut when I got there. Seen a few negative comments and don't really understand why, it is free, good parking, nice place for a stroll ( even if just to see the river and birds), and a decent chance to see koala or wallaby. I do however agree with one of the reviews that wildlife wonders up the road is excellent, so do give that a go.
