our main intention of stopping by this place is to view the koalas in the wild, which is along the Grey River Road. but along the way from Great Ocean Road to Melb, we couldnt find any lunch places as the time was already 3+, and upon reaching here, the kafe is still open! and to our great delight, the fish & chips (we got the flathead-something fish, as there were 2 fish options to choose from) was sooooo sooooooo good! i was never a f&c person, but the one here, had us re-ordered! LOL.. and just across the cafe was the Grey River Rd, where we were all soooooo entertained by the free-roaming, frenly (big) parrots, and feasted our eyes on quite a few of koalas!
but it'd definitely be better if there's toilet to be used, instead of walking to the caravan park (not far though).
in short, this kafe is more that meets the eye! it may not be beautifully decorated internally and externally, and might look more like a convenience store rather than a cafe, but the food is good! and the two older ladies serving us was very warm and friendly!
