Review of Montgomery Park

Montgomery Park
Reviewed 26 December 2017

The park is quite large, with plenty of grassland and two playgrounds. There is an undercover BBQ area, with public toilet and the playgrounds have to be seen to be believed with amazing designs of equipment. One has a giant slide built into the hillside.

Montgomery Park has found favour with local youngsters since the Swift Parrot pirate ship made its apprerance at Montgomery Park in Essendon. The pirate ship, funded by Melbourne Water and the City of Moonee Valley, forms part of the master plan for the park, courtesy of the City of Moonee Valley. There's also a very long slide at the park. The Melbourne Traffic School is nearby. There's a BBQ and shade, plus free parking.
