We didn't book this through Trip Adviser. We booked a chozos based on the photographs on the site we booked, the chozos looked great, little hobbit houses that looked modern inside, with fashionable lighting, a jacuzzi etc...this looked nothing like the chozos we stayed in. In fairness we were given the option of chozos 5 or 6, both had small gated gardens, ideal for our dog who we had brought with us. They are situated next to the swimming pool, which looked clean & inviting, although perhaps a tad chilly given the time of year. The rooms themselves were rustic but looked dated & my partner did feel let down that they looked nothing like we had expected, I didn't mind so much & thought they were quite cute, they were still clean & comfortable and fairly reasonably priced.

The chozos are tiny detached circular houses with a separate bathroom. We chose chozos 5, the kitchenette, living room and bedroom are all open plan but with obvious designated areas, the bedroom sits behind the bathroom.

On lying in bed, we could see quite a few lizards clinging to the roofing beams, which provided us with some entertainment as we tried to decide if they were real or carved into the wood, this was finally answered when one of them decided to move, we were quite happy for their presence as they would help keep down the mozzies and other insect population of which I'm not a fan.

The hotel manager (? Owner), was extremely friendly and helpful despite speaking little English and having to contend with our appallingly poor attempts at Spanish, the wifi doesn't extend to the chozos so we were unable to use it.

To conclude, I have given this an average rating because the room we booked clearly looked nothing like the photos. In general the main hotel & chozos did look a somewhat run down, however the staff were friendly & helpful, and the room we stayed in comfortable, clean & reasonably priced.

Cycling the Via de la Plata route to Santiago de Compostella, we arrived here in late afternoon in late September. We were welcomed and brought to our rooms and advised to leave bicycles in an area that is covered and locked at night.
The evening meal was well above average and we were very glad that we stayed and dined here.
When I got home, I wrote and asked for the recipe for one of our starter items and this was sent on to me by return.
Very pleased with this hotel
