This has to be the best B&B place for miles around… a lovely building with really comfortable large rooms, full of character. The owners take great care to attend to every detail, and the breakfasts are superb- the best I’ve had for years. Plus the local area is ideal for all sorts of holiday activities. I can’t wait to return later this year!

We booked The Lodge at Coed Mawr Hall for our “wedding weekend” after deciding to elope to North Wales.
The hotel itself is immaculate and the decoration is something you’d find on Pinterest.
On arrival, we were welcomed by Beth who showed us to our room and kindly served us warm Welsh cakes and coffee in the lounge.
Our room was spotless and had the most amazing mountain views. Breakfast was delicious every morning.
Beth & Andrew are so friendly and very accommodating; they made us feel at home. They went the extra mile and exceeded our expectations.
I’m so glad we stayed at Coed Mawr Hall for such a special occasion, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return again in the future!
Also, if we are looking to travel to different places in North Wales during your stay, please don’t be put off by the car journeys. Each day we travelled an hour or so away to Dolgellau, Betws-y-Coed, Portmeirion etc and the drive is so picturesque, you’re there in no time.
I’d highly recommend to book a stay at Coed Mawr Hall, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you Beth & Andrew - from Mr & Mrs Summers.

Me and my partner booked for a weekend away for his birthday. The place is amazing views are breath tracking. The owners make you feel so welcome and at home nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was well managed. The hotel it’s self had a real quirky feel to it.

Truly the best place I have stayed in years... all the style and comfort on a room at the Hoxton, but much more individual, with quirky, beautifully decorated rooms, in an exquisite country setting. Beth and Andy are wonderful hosts. Lovely breakfast; great facilities.

We were looking for a last minute break and fell very lucky coming across this lovely B&B which can be heartily recommended. We stayed in room 2 - The Laundry which had fantastic views across the valley and we were lucky enough to get greeted with beautiful sunrises every morning, but also delicious breakfast rolls brought to the room every morning as part of the changes implemented in regards to the Covid-19 situation. You pick what you want on your breakfast roll (sausage/bacon/egg), fruit juice, tea, coffee, cereals, fruit with granola & yoghurt, toast, bagels a really good choice & you also choose a time slot that you want it to delivered. Promptly at your chosen time there's a polite knock on the door & your tray full of goodies is waiting for you, well thought out and executed & very tasty..
Beth & Andrew were really friendly & excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They run a beautiful building in a gorgeous spot superbly well and we will have no hesitation in returning in the future.
