The prison was easy to find and though there was a fake prison break going on, we were greeted by Sophie who was very friendly, bilingual, patient and extremely knowledgeable. We were also greeted by a lady who worked there and her 9yo daughter Eva who was a very enthusiastic junior tour guide. Sophie took pictures of us with our cameras and encouraged us to take our time at the end of the tour to revisit any and all parts of this old prison. The cost was perfect at $6.00 and $5.00 for 65 and over. We were told about all the cultural activities that take place in the prison such as plays throughout the month of June. There is a waiting list for next year's performances and they gladly take names, phone numbers and emails so that you have first dibs for tickets when they became available. Well worth the visit.
