We only came here on recommendation from a friend, otherwise from the outside look of the place we would have just driven away. This a time warp, tatty and worn (although the toilets were fine albeit 'outside') However the welcome, the beer and the food were excellent. We shared two plates of scallops between three of us and they were delicious with lovely warm bread. Then spicy crab claws, a huge wok came straight to the table with more bread and we just got stuck in. Beautiful, rich liquor/broth with the claws, just the right amount of spice, lovely! It got very busy even though it was mid week and the rest of the menu looked great as well.
