Popped in for Fathers Day. I had the Fillet and the boss had a veggie option. Both good, not amazing but good. Just seems that some dishes are a little steep, £23 for a steak at the local pub is a bit high.

Our local hockey club were doing a charity walk and decided a stop at the Crooked Inn for a refreshment stop would be a lovely location for a quick break; emailed the Inn in advance to ask if that would be ok as there could be quite a few of us; all was good they said but at arriving at the pub we were treated like we shouldn't have bothered, one of our ladies in the group ordered a Pimms and was told oh theres always a alkward one and don't think you are getting any mint in it!!! by the lady behind the bar - we all had a least 1 drink and a lot of people had sandwiched etc.

Wouldn't go back - which is a shame as its a lovely spot to sit out and eat. :-( :-(

Visited for lunch and liked it so much we called in for dinner 2 days later. Meat falling off the bone spareribs and fresh fish & chips were our choices, to be recommended.Service was very good and it's dog friendly.
Only minor negative the is the rubbish and abandoned cars in the car park.

We stayed here and the surroundings are lovely. Food was great. The staff were amazing. We needed to get a taxi to a wedding but there was a hours wait ,so the kind Barman Paul was finishing his shift and offered to take us, thank you so much, you saved the day!! We would stay here again. Brilliant.
