The restaurant has not been built yet. The room we were shown into was huge, there were 4 of us, and no one else in the room! Our front of house wore jeans and a check shirt. The starter was OK, the melon in the Fanned Melon was hard though.
The main course arrived. The whole meal had very obviously been reheated from some time ago, probably Sunday (our visit took place on the Tuesday). The roast potatoes were soft and grey, the cauliflower yellowing and soggy, the sprouts were old. The whole meal appeared to have been reheated in an oven, it was not very hot. The salmon was minuscule and looked very much as if it was one slice of a twin pack from a supermarket.
If Cranberries want to make their mark as a top restaurant I suggest they start trying to impress their local clientele or there will be no return business.
