Seeing the lack of reviews with scores of less than 5 stars, I was concerned but decided to take a chance anyway. Turns out, our stay deserves nothing less.
We traveled as a family of 4 including 2 very young children and everybody from the initial interaction with Mr Pankaj while booking the trip, to the food and personalised meal experiences (including a stunning candlelit dinner in the jungle to celebrate our anniversary) by Chef Naveen and his team, twice a day safaris with Karan (we spotted leopards in every visit, and Karan even helped our 4 year old spot them) and concierge, Hemsingh ensured we were wanting for nothing. Finally also a shout out to Sachin Singh who kept our kids safe and entertained while we had a quiet and romantic barbecue dinner.
The rooms are legitimately huge and very well appointed. We had a small pool which the staff refilled with warm water when the kids wanted to swim.
The best compliment I can give is : when we checked out to go to Ranthambore next, my wife commented, "I wonder if Oberoi will be able to match this"
All in all, BrijJawai stands comfortably beside storied brands like Oberoi, Sujan, Relais and Chateaux, etc
