My wife and I did not book online or by phone, but rather we knocked on the door in the late afternoon and asked if there were vacancies. Anna was very accommodating and very kind. The room was one of the nicest we stayed in during our time in Ireland (we hopped between a few B&Bs and hotel rooms); it had a cool beach-town vibe to it, the bathroom and shower were great. Breakfast in the morning was tasty. The location is great, right in the center of town, with plenty of shops and restaurants all around.

A great place to stay. Highly recommended.

It is a very unusual querky place, right in the centre of town. You have to park in a public car park which is opposite. The room was comfortable and you can help yourself to as much tea and coffee as you wish. We found it a bit pricey in comparison to other places that we stayed in and there was a long wait for our breakfast.

Room Tip: It is hard to say which rooms are the quietest, the B&B is such an unusual set up

Room was absolutely beautiful, very bright, comfortable, modern...actually much better then a hotel room. The property was within walking distance of all nearby venues and as I was attending a wedding in one of the local hotels it was perfect for me, 5 mins walk to wedding. Tea/luxury coffee making facilities available, ice making machine, wine glasses, biscuits there for my comfort and use. The owner of this property was very accommodating and very helpful. The area although a busy street was still beautiful and quite at night so I had a great nights sleep.

Room Tip: Just let the owner know what your preferences are and she will do her very best to help you

I booked this B&B for my husband’s birthday and was not disappointed. The B&B is in the centre of the town, beside the bus stop which is very convenient! Ann was friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Our room was very large with an outside terrace. The furnishings in the room were lovely and of very good quality. There are slate tiles in the ensuite with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. The shower was excellent. The communal room with a proper coffee making machine and ice-maker is a great facility to have. Breakfast was good quality and there was a good choice. I would recommend this accommodation and would happily stay here again.

A garden in the centre of Kinsale, what a great find! We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Pier House. Ann is a warm and welcoming host and we immediately felt right at home! Our balcony corner room was delightful with a very comfortable bed and generous seating area. The view towards the harbour over the peaceful garden was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order each morning, thank you Ann! Kinsale is picture perfect, filled with delightful shops and galleries and of course many restaurants! We were there on a weekend and it was busy during the day but in the early evening the crowds cleared and Kinsale was perfect for strolling to the pub and then off to a lovely restaurant for dinner. Kinsale lived up to all expectations and Pier House was the perfect place to stay.

Room Tip: We had a balcony room, delightful!
