Comfortable room with en-suite bathroom. Patricia was a warm hostess, very welcoming. No trouble with parking, and only 5 minutes walk to Adare village. Good breakfast provided. Contrary to some of the other reviewers, no issue with 'musty smell'. Overall, good for short visit to Adare for any reason...

The hosts are most gracious. Their facility is excellent, modern, and the breakfast that they provide is among the best we have experienced. They are a 5 minute walk from the center of the small village of Adare. We would not hesitate to stay here should we return to this area.

Our experience started off even better than expected, when we were allowed early checkin after an unexpectedly early landing time at Shannon Airport.

Patricia and Richard are very nice people, and not overwhelmingly "in your face" like some B&B owners.

The building does have a bit of a musty smell, but that's not unusual because of its age and location.

The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower (though small), had invigorating water pressure and great heat.

Breakfast was outstanding and service throughout our stay was top notch. This place is perfectly located just off the main drag, though only a 5 minute walk away. Try the river walk just down the street as well.

Adare itself is an adorable little town. It is an easy 35 minute drive from Shannon and we used it as a place to adjust to the time change and driving on the other side of the road. It was an excellent place to sleepily walk around, take pictures and adjust to Irish life. Most people seem to stop in on the way to somewhere else but we are so glad we stayed the night.

Highly recommended!

Very central walking distance to town and restaurants. Clean and welcoming hostess with a lovely breakfast. My only complaint is the shower was terrible, no pressure at all. Probably the worst I have ever encountered. I would hate to have to wash my hair while I was there. The shower taps and pressure certainly need updating in the room I was in. Apart from that all was very good. Also the WiFi did not work in the room only common room.

Friendly proprietors, charming rooms, warm and welcoming, easy walk to sights and restaurants. Parking is easy and location is quiet. Comfortable bed, delicious food, nice shower, and a hair dryer. Perfect! Even after they had sold out for the night, they continued to greet others who knocked on the door, helping them to find other accommodation. Lovely!
