This is an ideal place to visit with a small group. As an educational interest it's perfect for a short visit. There is a lovely cafe and a beautiful garden with a stream running through it.
I have visited this wonderful getaway restaurant, plant nursery cum garden by the river on numerous occasions and each time I come away feeling relaxed and reinvigorated. It is run by the Camphill Community and offers a limited but nutritious lunch in a lovely, relaxed environment. After lunch you can take a gentle walk through the garden, sit in the shade of the overhanging trees and listen to the murmuring river flowing by. And, on the way out, you can have a look at the huge variety of plants for sale and bring a little bit of heaven back home.
If you are vegetarian then this is a great place for you. If you are not vegetarian then you'll find it is also a great place to sample a meal without meat. Food is fresh, delicious and varied. It is served with a smile by Helen Costello and her staff. It is open for Saturday evening meals and Sunday lunches only.
Such a lovely place to visit. Great coffee, quality food, beautiful gardens and a lovely atmosphere. I love popping in here for lunch. The gardens are magnificent on a summer's day.
Good fresh food, beautiful setting, staff helpful, bright clean and airy. So good to see a venture supporting those in need of care.
This is a tranquil garden in the centre of Thomastown and surprisingly large and peaceful for such a central location. There are lots of seats dotted around the garden where you can pass the time enjoying the garden, birds and peace. We enjoyed lunch as well as our garden visit, and were well served by members of the Camphill community who run it.
