We have just returned from a stay at the Fairways Hotel Dundalk, I must say the service, room & food were excellent. From the time we arrived at reception the three ladies at the desk had a very friendly welcome.
The room was absolutely immaculately clean & very well appointed.
We went for dinner & were greeted by Glen. He is an absolute gentleman who gave us the best of attention & old fashioned service which is indeed a rare thing to experience these days.
Glen operates the dining room with a very large team that are highly skilled & trained in customer service & satisfaction. The food was excellent, each course was served without delay, the staff have to be the most attentive that I have experienced any where.
The next morning Glen was in charge of the dining room & again the breakfast was served without delay & the quality & choice exceeded expectations. We had a great experience & hope to return again.

Dear Paul,

It is one of those feedback reviews that you read and say WOW! Amazing feedback!

I am delighted that everything was to your satisfaction and more. From the service, room, food, cleanliness, all vital requirements to ensure a great stay in any Hotel to your super comments regarding The Brasserie Team and Glenn.

Glenn is a fantastic, experienced and knowledgeable Brasserie/Restaurant operator and your comments regarding Glenn and our highly skilled and trained in customer service and satisfaction team (your words) are absolutely amazing.

Exceeding quality and choice with our breakfast offering is another superb piece of feedback as we firmly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of your stay and I am delighted that we hit the mark again here.

Paul thank you for staying with us and for your 5/5 feedback review.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Fairways in the none too distant future.

Kind Regards,

Andrew Walker

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed, and great shower. Tv had good selection of channels. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, very tasty, but small portions. We opted for breakfast in bed, for an extra €7.50 service charge. Breakfast arrived ice cold. We rang reception who where very apologetic and offered to send up fresh breakfast but would take another half hour, so we went down for breakfast. Tea and toast arrived very quickly, breakfast arrived, about 25 minutes later. Breakfast wasn’t great, cheap produce. Would not recommend having breakfast in hotel, but would stay again, and go out for breakfast. Hotel also lacks atmosphere in the bar.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Fairways and for taking time to pass on some valuable feedback.

It is pleasing to note your comments on our very friendly, helpful staff and tasty food.

I am sorry that our breakfast offering wasn't to your liking, normally a strong point for us in terms of offering and quality.

It is great that our very high quality Respa Elegance 600 Mattresses in all our guest bedrooms and large walk in ‘experience shower' were enjoyed.

You have provided some worthwhile feedback and I am delighted that you would stay with us again. We appreciate your custom and look forward to welcoming you back to Fairways sometime soon.

Kind Regards,

Andrew Walker

Recently dined in Fairways, sat in pods, they are very deceptive, great comfort within the pod, the heating was a great surprise, made them very cosy, and on a cold autumn night no need for scarf and gloves I'd brought just encase, very impressive.
Service was attentive, polite, friendly and overall excellent, thank you George. Food was plentiful, well presented and delightfully tasty, very impressed by team Fairways. Thank you for your hospitality.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your very kind and positive comments on your recent dining experience with us at Fairways.

Super feedback and it is great to hear our outside dining facilities hit the mark. The pods are a great addition to The Brasserie complete with their own individual lighting and heating to ensure you enjoy all the comfort of indoors outdoors!

George is a very valued member of Team Fairways who has been with us from the beginning of this Fairways story and it is great to see him get such a great shout-out. Much appreciated.

We hope to get the opportunity to welcome you back to Fairways sometime soon.

Kind Regards,

We stayed here recently for 3 nights on a 3 for 2 deal. Great value for money. The hotel is beautiful, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely however all the staff were young and don't tend to write your order down so on each morning we had to ask twice for toast,a minor issue. The hotel website says it 2.4 miles from the centre however that must be how the crow flies as it seemed much further. We didn't have an issue with the distance however as the hotel was worth the drive. There's a SuperValu store right beside the hotel that was handy for drinks and snacks. I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family and look forward to visiting again.

Dear Frances,

Thank you for staying with us at Fairways and for providing some valuable feedback.

I am delighted that you enjoyed your time with us although I am sorry for the issues with the toast, I can understand your frustrations here.

I hope you got the opportunity to visit the amazing Blackrock village whilst staying with us at Fairways which again is only a couple of minutes' drive from the Hotel.

Frances thank you for any future recommendations to your family and friends, this is really appreciated.

We look forward to welcoming you to Fairways some time soon.
