Had a very comfortable night in this wonderful guesthouse. Very quiet room with a lot of space. Extremely comfortable. Great shower. Brilliant breakfast with a lot of choice. Very warm welcome. Very accomodating to any needs. Mary booked us a table at a resteraunt in town. A great stay.

Room tip: There are views of the golf course available.

We only spent 1 night here but wished we could’ve stayed longer. Mary and James warmly greeted us and gave us a surprise by upgrading our room to a suite. The room overlooks the backend of Ballybunion which was great because we played there the next day. It was very conveniently close which allowed us to enjoy the delicious breakfast before our tee time. We would highly recommend this place along with Mary and James.

Delightful experience in a place that looks every bit a hotel inside and hotel, but is run splendidly by an engaging couple, Mary and James. Personal touch from check in to check out. No restaurant? No problem. Mary is more than happy to make reservations anywhere in town.
What time is breakfast? What time is your tee time and she'll work from there.
Quiet, spacious, relaxing

I cant say enough with this place Mary is wonderful and I wish her the best until
next time. As we got there so late in the evening they were kind in making a reservation at a near by restaurant. I love Ballybuniion I grew up here in the summer time as a child it has fond memories
Enjoy the walks by the sand dunes and the positive energy this lodge holds.

Mary and James were perfect hosts as made our stay so welcoming. Just a PW from the Cashen n two min drive to the Old so don't hesitate to stay as rooms are of superior standard and breakfast for Champions. Cheers for our stay.
