It is one of the places you can walk for hundreds of yards enjoying bluebells everywhere. Photos came out well too.

Used to come here when our son was small, now we visit to bring the dog and whether it's children or dogs these woods are well worth a visit. Free parking and lots of different trails to follow. I'm so grateful we still have such lovely places like this to visit and enjoy.

Having moved closer to Kingswood last year this has become the place of choice for our daily walks with our Labrador, she loves the mixture of pathways and woodland area to explore. This time of year the woods are blanketed with Bluebells and looks very pretty.

There are plenty of walks for all abilities and dogs are allowed off the lead, beware of the Deers though.

Can get busy at weekends.

We went to the wood specifically to see the bluebells, which are staggeringly beautiful in early May. We left our car in the car park and, using an OS map, tried to navigate our way around the wood. Unfortunately, although we did find some amazingly beautiful drifts of bluebells, which seem to hover in the trees, the signage is awful on the ground; inevitably, we became somewhat lost. Quite by chance, we happened across a couple of "car park" indicators, deep in the wood and followed these as best we could, eventually finding our way back to the car. Signage definitely could do with improving. But the wood is a delight and the flowers wonderful.

The woods are very beautiful at this time of year with all the lovely bluebells in bloom. It's a great place to visit but it can be very busy. Sometimes are visits are spoilt by barking dogs, dog owners should really be more respectful of others and keep their dogs noise to a minimum so as not to spoil the enjoyment of others.
