What a lovely place. We spent a fantastic day here with two boys aged 7 & 5, and will be back again. Absolutely beautiful area to explore, Cian was brilliant in talking us through what to do and giving the boys activity books. Well worth a visit, and good care with lots of space outside too

It's hard to fault this place as it really has it all for a great family day (or half day) out. We went on the loop walk which was about 2 miles and just about manageable for our 3 1/2 yr old. We also had a standard stroller / buggy with us for our 1 yr old and managed to push it all the way round, providing you don't mind a bit of off-roading! The walk took us past a beautiful beach only accessible by footpath or boat. We pretty much had the place to ourselves at 10.30am in the middle of the school holidays. The sand is golden yellow, the water is clear and we could see Brownsea Island off in the distance - it was lovely. The walk then takes you up overlooking the beach with great views across the Isle of Purbeck & Arne health. A bit further into the walk there is an adventure playground, climbing wall & fort that both our kids (and us) really enjoyed. Along the walk we were picking wild blackberries to feed the girls which were very tasty. We finished the walk and then got lunch in the cafe which was superb. All in all a superb morning out and I would thoroughly recommend it to all!

Excellent staff and lovely scenery, but wished for better signage as to various routes as the paper map was not easy to understand.
A very large site with many trails, but would benefit from info signs at various points to explain the wildlife and habitats.

Spent a lovely day with my husband and 2 children (age 7 and 10) our bird mad son picked this as his birthday treat. We spent 1 1/2 hours on the quiet little beach eating a picnic and paddling. Strolled back to the cafe for refreshments before heading home. We saw a beautiful stag and various birds. All the staff were friendly and facilities clean. At the cost of £5 for a days parking this is a really good value day out. We Will definately go back!

Great place to see all types of wildlife and nature - deer, bird life, dragonflies, lizards, butterflies and lovely views.
