Description: Hotel Doolin's Fitzpartick's Bar, famous for it's traditional Irish music, lively sessions, thirst quenching pints and wholesome food is popular with both residents and locals alike. Fitzpatrick's Bar is as much a part of the vibrant experience of Doolin as it is of the hotel itself. With its polished panelling, natural stone and open fire it offers a calm and relaxed setting during the day while at night it transforms into a lively bar with entertainment. The Bar is split into two sections. Fitz's Snug is our cosy front bar with an open fire, ideal for relaxing with a cool pint whilst listening to our live Trad sessions. The much larger back bar is perfect for parties and live bands. There are a number of local and Irish beers available in Fitzpatrick's Bar including:•Eight Degree - Sunburnt Irish Red•Eight Degree - Knockmealdown porter•Eight Degree - Howling Gale Ale•Galway Hooker•Helvick Gold blonde Ale•Blackrock Irish Stout•Copper Coast Red Ale

So pleased we got a table tonight, had to wait forty minutes to an hour last night. Great menu with friendly staff. Quick with service. Tasty meal with huge helpings. Great Guinness and good wines. Disagree with some other reviews - found this pub great. Music when we walked in at 8pm on a Sunday evening. Do go there and make your own decision. We loved it.

Visited Doolin in February 2017 with husband and two children. Fitzpatrick's Bar was warm, friendly and welcoming. A welcoming fire was just the thing we needed after a chilly outing to the Cliffs of Moher. There were some local musicians playing some traditional music too which was lovely. The food, most if not all of it sourced locally, was bursting with flavour, presented beautifully and served by very polite and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We started with the local oysters. It felt like eating the ocean - so fresh and delicious. I ordered the bucket of mussels. It was one of my favorite meals in Ireland! Decadent and yummy!!

We dined here after receiving a couple of coupons from the Doolin Hotel for glasses of craft brewed ale produced by the Pub. The Doolin Red Ale was superb, as was our dinner. The super salad was large enough to split between the two of us, and was prepared with fresh lettuces and other veggies grown in a hot house on the hotel premise. The BBQ ribs were a pleasant surprise, meat falling off the bone and a delicious sauce. This was, simply, the best pub food we have eaten. The atmosphere is fairly typical for an Irish pub, and service was quick and attentive. All in all, this was a very nice experience in a small Irish town that exceeded our expectations.

We popped in for a late lunch (early dinner) of soup, brown bread and of course Guinness. We came back later in the evening for music, I ordered a side of chips, and more Guinness.
Fun bar, fun crowd and good craic!!!
