Beautiful kitsy hotel in a quaint town. The town does close up early so while the shops are closed, you can still walk around the town square nearby. It is a colorful place with a lot to take in. Definitely a one of a kind. Owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. Cute fish pond outside the rooms.
You should know there is no AC in the rooms. It was quite warm the night we stayed. We opened the windows fully, but air just doesn't seem to flow in. So our room was warmer than the outside. We also were serenaded by a dog every couple of hours or so and had the outside noise.
The hotel had great wifi. Nice sized bathrooms of European design (open shower, no fan). Ours had two glass blocks between the bathroom and sleeping room so if anyone went in, it does light up the room a bit.
Overall a neat place to stay. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Restaurant food was good.

Stayed: June 2017, travelled with family

Basic mid range hotel with the rooms being adequate and the breakfast fairly good with a good selection. Stayed here on a business trip for one night. Hotel is in a very good location with easy access to everything. Free parking in secure parking area next door.

Room Tip: Walk into the square in town, there's some good bars and restaurants

Exterior façade is quite special and worth the visit.

On the I side the food is good, friendly service, but not as extravagant as the exterior promises.

Nice location in St. Veit so it's a strategic position.

Somehow atracts by its outside, but inside: no "Pentium" if expected. A rather small dinning room, you have to be patient if there is a group of guests by bus... Food was acceptable, rooms somehow normal, ok. The hotel by my opinnion is a high 3 star one, there is a tv set, shower, and far too soft beds, what is not good for the people having their backbone pains that get greather after...
Overall value: acceptable.
Staff tries to be kind and nice.
Thank you Fuchs.

We spend there only one night and we choosed the hotel due to the design. Average rooms, average service, free parking just couple of meters from the hotel. Positive is that it is very close to the city center
