This was our third visit to the Cabins and we hope to be returning many more times. As soon as you arrive and come through the gates the feeling of peace and tranquillity surrounds you. The cabins are in a stunning location with lots on offer locally should you choose to explore. I personally prefer to stay within the Riverside cabins and make the most of the beautiful cabin and hot tub.
The staff are friendly, and welcoming with someone coming quickly to our cabin to show us how to use the hot tub and go through any queries we may have had. The cabin ( Roscoe) was very well equipped and very clean with lovely décor and a beautiful outlook overlooking the duck pond and the forest beyond.
The hot tub is always clean and the perfect temperature with checks completed daily.
The site itself is beautiful, with stunning views and great facilities, the kayaks and SUPS are available to use at no extra cost for all. The River Perry and it’s surroundings provide a beautiful back drop for a couple of hours of paddling.
Highly recommended and already booked for visit number four.

We stayed here for a weekend at the end of January and loved it! We came with our dog and were impressed how dog friendly it was with a bed and bowls waiting for him in the cabin and obviously plenty of space for him to run around on their beautiful grounds.
We stayed in Babar and it was absolutely perfect for the two of us plus pooch. The cabin was immaculately clean and facilities were fantastic. We had everything we needed even down to an airfryer, which is a great idea.
When we arrived someone came quickly to show us how to use the hot tub which was also immaculately clean and a lovely 38°. We used it on both nights of our stay and it was perfect.
It was amazing being able to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars, with very little light pollution the view of the stars at night is incredible.
The staff that we saw were great, more than happy to help and ask us if we had everything we needed.
The grounds are beautifully kept and we would love to come back in the summer when we can make more use of the BBQ area outside the cabin.
It was lovely and quiet, the cabins seem to be well sound proofed. They are also very warm with underfloor heating, even with an icy morning on the Saturday it was perfectly warm inside the cabin.
Wifi in the cabin and around the grounds was fast and no issues for the whole stay.
We will definitely be returning. Absolutely perfect weekend!

There’s something magical about this place! It’s just a great destination to relax, unwind and put your troubles behind you.

From the moment we arrived to the time we departed we just dialled it back and had a great time!
