I had lattes a few times and listened to some of the locals talk and thought it was pretty nice. They advertise soup but it is INSTANT. They do have some baked goods. I think that they should consider adding a sandwich and real soup component to their menu and taking it up just a notch.

Interesting Harbor side hot chocolate with spices. Good on rainy and cold day! Great service... some food.

Nice location to wait for a boat or just to watch. Great service by lovely young ladies who make a great cup of coffee to warm me up and wake me up to start my day.

Very few Barista's get it right! This one served the best straight espresso that I have had in a long long time! Way to go.

If you go to Kodiak, Alaska then you owe it to yourself to immerse yourself in the nautical ambience of downtown. At the heart of it all is the fishing fleet and it’s a delight to behold. Captains and crews scramble over and around their weary boats and silently toil on the piers to patch holes torn into their nets from the perilous work they perform on storm-tossed northern seas.

The Harborside Coffee and Goods is a unique little place nestled at top of Shelikof Ramp where you can mingle with fishermen, coast guard personnel and the local folk while enjoying the traditional coffee-house ambience of a seaside community.

There is little in the way of parking but that is available free on Marine Street just a short walking distance down the street. Coffee artfully roasted and brewed to perfection by Harborside is what keeps the business afloat but its the people it pulls in and the ambience they provide that is its draw.
