White mocha, chai tea, giant breakfast burrito and build your own breakfast sandwich means awesome first breakfast on Kodiak Island!

This is a small place with four tables inside and a number of two person tables outside on a covered porch. It is more of a soup, salad and sandwiches place. The tomato soup was great and the cookies were delicious. Gluten free cookies were available. I had a sandwich which was quite good and the Tomato Bisque. Also served are breakfast burritos.
The place is pretty busy with locals and the meals are slightly more expensive than other places, but you are paying for organic goodness. It is worth a visit.

A must go! A must must go! Get the cookies, enjoy talking to all of the sweet employees, including the owner! It's an amazing place & missed so much by those who've moved away! ❤️

This is the best breakfast place in Kodiak. Quaint, funky, and super friendly with great food. Ensure you try the oatmeal.

From anchorage and have considered moving to kodiak for the incredible hospitality and the java flats cookies. Took half a dozen home with me. Huge mistake. Should've taken a dozen
