Recently stayed at Swanys Fir Farm. Arthur is extremely friendly and great company.
My room was spacious, clean and quiet with great views over the gardens and open countryside.
Excellent breakfast in the dining room overlooking the pond with masses of wild birds and ducks to keep the diner amused.
Excellent value for money, plenty of off road parking.

Room Tip: Very quiet relaxing location in a stunning part of the country.

We stopped here for a couple of nights. Arthur and his family are extremely friendly and take great care to make sure you have a good time. Be aware though, this IS a working farm: so while the setting is gorgeous, you will get a little muddy if you go out and about.

Superbly lovely farm house and Arthur was so friendly and we had the warmest welcome! He was really flexible with arrival time and early breakfast, made it all perfect for our races on the weekend! Sweet twin room with amazing view and lovely breakfast, high recommended and will definitely go back! :-))

We had a delightful stay at Swaynes Firs Farm. Our accommodations were nice, the room clean and the food delicious. It was a perfect situation and setting for our family of 4. Our young daughters enjoyed exploring the farm. That added a nice touch to our stay.

Stayed here in April and had a wonderful weekend. Many local attractions nearby great for a weekend away. Booking was easy and hosts very accommodating with early breakfasts and advice. Lovely to watch the birds from the window. Breakfast was very lovely-- homemade preserves. Hosts great, and the place easy to find. It is a quirky place to stay, the decor of the room we stayed in could do with updating/ a make over however this did not take much away from a wonderful bed and breakfast. Felt very at home, would recommend.
