We have enjoyed very good meals here in the past, unfortunately our latest visit has made sure that we will not visit again. We used this venue for my sons wedding two years ago but the quality of the food has dived since then.

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, toddler and a baby) this weekend, and while it was a comfortable stay, we noticed things that just weren’t up to par with our last stay.
We stayed in the cottage down the street, and while it’s perfect for us with two young children, the standard of cleanliness in the cottage wasn’t what I would expect. There was blood on the bathroom floor near the shower, a lot of dust in the living room and small bedroom and the sofa bed in the living room was ripped.
The shower was nice, except the bit to adjust the height of the head was broken so we had to have it at the lowest level and squat down to rinse shampoo off our heads.
Breakfast the next morning was lovely. We were offered a big selection of juices, cereals, fruits etc which kept my children happy while breakfast was cooked.
Overall, our stay was good, it was just the cleanliness in the cottage which let it down.

Just returned from a loveky over night stay at The George Hotel Nunney. We stayed in the Castle Suite which was spacious, clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable too. We had food in the restaurant too, which was lovely. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice including things for people with food allergies. I would definitely recommend thus place.

So we popped in for dinner, having booked over the phone on the way down to Somerset.

Inside the place was quite busy (being a Friday night) but we had a nice quiet nook, which was just as well, as we had two black labradors with us! We weren't the only one with dogs as another couple eating also had mutts, so clearly a dog friendly place!

Food was lovely - only downside was slightly slow/disorganised service which I put down to an inexperienced member of staff

Went there with family for a meal food was ok nothing to write home about. Not much choice with steak , service wasn't very good, took ages for someone to bring a menu.
Seemed to be ignored most of the night. Would not go back again. Decor was lovley.
