SUNDAY BRUNCH A VERITABLE SNACKY FEAST. Word is getting around the Luberon about les David’s, on RTÉ. 333 between Viens & Simiane la Rotunde. So we booked the Sunday brunch on their Internet site (really advise this).
I’m writing this review to fill in some details that aren’t available yet on the web, FYI. At the moment (6/24) the menu for the Brunch costs €33 and includes a bio Apple Juice and coffee at the end of the meal. We paid extra for a bottle of Rose and one 50 cl mineral water, so the total was €40 pp.
Just to mention a few of the items brought to our table: yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, soft cooked egg with croton dipping soldiers, baskets of pastries (pain au chocolate, etc) with country rustic breads. A cheese board and charcuterie platter. Little mini burgers with tasty tomato condiment (see photos). At the end of the day we oinked our way home.
Service was good although (just me) I would have changed the order of delivery…getting the sweet stuff first..we’ll, this is just me.
The road is signed. The driveway is very narrow so proceed slowly. The bottled wines in the Cave are reasonable but we didn’t do the tasting.
A visitor to les Davids will experience a class act.
No need to dress up: expect families and summer casual.

The most amazing views, comfortable terrace, great choice of wines to try and delicious board of local meats, cheeses, vegetables and purees. A wonderful spot for lunch followed by a little wine tasting.
