This is an absolutely beautiful property. In almost every way, perfect for our group of 10 adults and 14 children.
We were so keen to return.
However 4 of us used the hot tub on the last day and all contracted a skin infection, which lead to my 10 year old daughter in particular becoming quite unwell with a rash and fever. She missed school for several days and had to wear leggings under her dress for 2 weeks to hide the rash (7 weeks later she still has some spots). My husband also missed work and a business trip due to the rash. This was diagnosed and treated with steroids by our doctor and confirmed as being caused by bacteria in the hot tub.
We booked through Oliver’s Travels who have been sympathetic, but have failed to offer anything more than a small amount of cash and credit from their own earnings.
We are disgusted by the complete lack of response from the owners and management of the property.
Avoid.More

Great

This was booked for a family wedding we used all the rooms. The villas are all great. Very relaxing place to stay. Loads to do round the villas has 2 great pools a bowling rink and a tennis court. The views round the place is stunning. Would love to stay here again was a great experience to stay here

Beautiful property, we loved every minute here during our wedding week

We rented all of the rooms of Hameau de Cournille for a week, and had our wedding on the property. Of everything we planned for the wedding, choosing this venue was the best decision. It is more beautiful in person than you can tell from the photos, and the entire area around the property was stunning. Audrey was our main contact at the Hameau and she was incredibly warm and welcoming, she helped us with everything we needed. Audrey was just the most marvelous hostess. Les Davids catered the wedding and much else during the week, the food was fabulous. Fresh bread, pane de chocolate and croissants were delivered each morning which made a lovely start to each day. We spent most of our time enjoying the many terraces and beautiful views with wine, cheese and fresh bread. The rooms were all beautifully decorated, and the grounds kept up. The showers were the best we had in Europe and the kitchens were perfect for cooking for a large group. We had a magical week at Hameau de Cournille and can't wait to return, hopefully for an anniversary someday. We highly recommend it!!!
