Hotel Cheyenne is an excellent base for a “budget friendly” Disneyland hotel. The staff, without exception, were friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. The reception area is very large and spacious, together with a concierge desk and a shop. We ate at Chucks Wagon for two nights, food was good (albeit quite pricey) but it catered well for my two boys, one of which is particularly fussy. The room was clean and comfortable, a little tired in places (particularly the bathroom) however it did the job, which was a good place to lay your head after a long, busy day in the parks! We walked to the parks every day so can’t comment on the shuttle buses, however I can say the walk is lovely, quite scenic, and manageable for most people (my eldest son is 5 and managed the walk there and back and all round the parks daily)
We stayed in Hotel Santa Fe pre Covid, and Hotel Cheyenne knocks spots off it. These two hotels are often comparable in price and level, and I would say if you have the choice for what is normally just a little bit extra, I would go for Cheyenne, I fail to see how you would be disappointed.More
